What the product does

PainlessPDF processes PDF files in your browser. The current product is designed so files remain on your device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.

Files and document contents

We do not intentionally collect, store, or transmit the contents of PDFs you open in the current browser-based tool. File processing happens locally in your browser session.

Analytics

We may use privacy-focused website analytics for page views and basic traffic measurement. If analytics are enabled, they are used to understand site usage, not to inspect the contents of your PDF files.

Emails and payments

If you contact us by email or use an external checkout provider, the information you submit is processed by those services under their own terms and policies.

Data retention

Email and customer support messages may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide support, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
